Haute Nendaz to the east of Verbier is a convenient train ride from Geneva airport to and only 25 minutes by road to Nendaz. The attractive climb revealed the old village of Haute Nendaz; rustic hamlet-style houses on narrow streets and a baroque chapel.

Nendaz sits conveniently between Verbier and Veysonnaz, and below Siviez, making up the four valleys ski and mountain area with Verbier. Nendaz’s skiers, walkers, hikers, bikers and nature enthusiasts are well placed to explore the whole area, get to lunch in Verbier if they wish and back in time for dinner. Indeed with four shops renting highly capable e-mountain bikes, the 400km ski area and 1,000km of walking and biking trails are accessible year-round.

There has been strong demand for chalets and apartments during 2020, and whilst visiting with clients yesterday I decided to summarise some well-located chalets that can be purchased by Swiss or non-Swiss for under a two million CHF. Let us not forget that mortgages are very cheap in Switzerland, starting from 0.9%, making the properties listed below very affordable indeed.
